Single Rooms for Solo Skiers and Boarders – Club Med La Plagne 2100: Sunday 22 December 2024 for 7 nights

I am excited to be returning to La Plagne after we enjoyed it so much last year. It is not easy to find a single room for a ski holiday especially at Christmas but we are delighted to offer both single and shared rooms on this holiday, which has been specifically tailored for single and solo skiers. I am happy to try to find a sharer for you as long as you do not smoke or snore.

We usually have 50 or 60 guests ensuring plenty of good company and opportunity to meet like-minded ski and board buddies at every level.

All meals, snacks & drinks included so no lunches or bar bills to pay for.

Morning and afternoon lessons/guiding returning for lunch Monday to Friday for skiers and boarders of all abilities, beginners right through to expert. The lift pass is also included Monday to Saturday for the whole Paradaski area, les Arcs & La Plagne.

Deposit of £150 is required to confirm a place and the balance will be due on or before 23 September. All payments will go direct to Club Med once your booking details have been confirmed by Singlesport.

As your payment is made direct to Club Med you are protected by their guarantees and their terms and conditions as well as that afforded by their ABTA membership.

Flights, Trains and Transfers

Club Med offer a charter flight from Gatwick to Grenoble. Guests choosing this option will have ATOL protection as well as ABTA

20K luggage is included on the charter flight and one ski bag up to 18K.

You can also choose to buy your own flight or train to coincide with our transfer bus from Geneva.

Your flight must be scheduled to land before 12.00 in Geneva and depart after 13.05. The bus will arrive at the airport 2 hours before to allow for check in.

Equipment Hire

The Club Med hire department is in house & so it is super easy to collect your equipment, or change it if necessary. Orders placed in advance are significantly cheaper than on arrival. The sport category is suitable for beginners & low intermediate skiers/boarders but more experienced guests will appreciate the performance category. You will be invited to choose your equipment during the sign-up process but it will not be charged until the balance is due.

Passport Check/Insurance

It is your responsibility to check both the issue and expiry date of your passport to be sure it is valid for entry to France. https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel advice/France/entry-requirements

You must have winter sports travel insurance and EHIC/GHIC which is free https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/healthcare-abroad/apply-for-a-free-uk-global-health-insurance-card-ghic/

You can purchase additional rescue & ski insurance for about 25 euros on arrival at Club Med. This will be valid for all Club Med ski holidays in 24/5. Please keep proof of purchase in your ski jacket, on your phone.

As a solo traveller it is also wise to note your emergency contacts in the back of your passport and carry a copy along with your insurance details in your ski jacket.

Booking

To request a place please go to “my bookings” in the top right of this page . If you have booked with Singlesport previously just log in using the same email and password as before. If this is your first booking you will need to register before logging in.

I will write to acknowledge your request and request your non-refundable deposit of £150 within a few days.
