Paleros Local Area
The small town of Paleros is situated on the north-west coast of Aetolia-Acarnania and is a 30-minute walk or a gentle cycle ride from the resort. The village is well worth a visit and has plenty of quaint seafront bars, restaurants and authentic Greek tavernas to relax and admire the ocean views.
Also nearby is the beautiful island of Lefkada, famous for its incredible beaches which amazes visitors with the magical blue colour of its waters and picturesque scenery.

This resort has been purpose built to offer the full range of Mark Warner activities so it’s hard to put a foot wrong if you want to get moving on your holiday.
You can get involved free of charge in any activity that takes your fancy, whether that’s sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, picking up a tennis racquet, cycling or participating in one the of the many fitness classes available. You can even book a Personal Trainer (PT) to top up your fitness or try your hand at waterskiing or wakeboarding at an extra cost.
The Mark Warner team of instructors are always on hand to help and support whatever your level, don’t forget to check out the pre-bookable courses if you’re looking to take things up a notch.
Land based Sporting Activities
Paleros offer fantastic on-land sporting activities. Those wishing to get on court and play tennis will be able to join in social matches and book courses with LTA accredited coaches. There will also be the opportunity to enjoy the local area on two wheels with the free guided bike tours (both road and mountain biking) which you can sign up to daily plus we will provide a huge array of fitness classes.
Padel & pickleball now offered at Paleros
They’ve added pickleball and built two brand-new padel courts at Paleros Beach Resort for this summer.
Water based sporting activites
The calm gentle waters at Paleros provide a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a range of dinghies and SUPs which all guests are invited to use as often as they like. If you would like to learn or improve your skills the Mark Warner expert instructors are on hand to provide guidance and lessons.
Paleros Beach Resort has fantastic conditions for watersports. The often light breezes and calm waters of the bay make it especially suited to water-skiing and wakeboarding. If you’re really keen, you can pre-book waterski and wakeboard packages at an extra charge.
Scuba diving courses and lessons are provided on-site by InDepth and are pre-bookable through the website or by calling our travel experts.

When you arrive in Preveza, there will be an airport transfer ready and waiting to take you to Paleros Beach Resort. Being only a short 30-minute drive from the airport you can be relaxing at the hotel before you know it!
