Improve your skiing technique on this ski holiday for solo skiers

This ski holiday in Austria is specifically designed for solo skiers wanting to improve their skiing technique for the season ahead. You ski each day on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and ski tuition is
offered morning and afternoon for 5 days by BASI qualified instructors.

Who is this Kaprun Ski Holiday for?

This ski holiday to Kaprun will suit everyone from confident blue run skiers right through to experts.

Anybody who has a real passion to improve their skiing will benefit from the sessions, be challenged and enjoy skiing with likeminded skiers. The term ‘Performance Course’ may suggest highly technical, boring ski sessions – but nothing could be further from the truth. Our instructors do not work this way.

Skivolution who provide the course have some of the best ski instructors around, (you may recognise some of them if you have been to Courchevel with us and had lessons with skivo2) not only in terms of their own skiing ability but also in qualifications, communication, and motivational skills. You do not have to be an advanced level skier to join our courses. If you can ski blue runs comfortably, our ski instructors will improve your skiing beyond your expectations.

What Makes Our Kaprun Skiing Courses Special?

• Geared to all levels from blue run skiers to advanced
• Run by elite level British coaches
• All day ski coaching
• Video analysis and feedback
• Small group sizes
• Some of the best and most reliable early snow conditions

Accommodation and Prices

Last year our guests loved SOULSISTERS Hotel, a beautiful 4-star hotel to which we are
delighted to be returning again this November (https://www.soulsistershotel.at/en/).

The price includes 7 breakfasts, 7 dinners and 5 days tuition.

Shared room £1249 per person (2 rooms left)

Twin room for single use £1679–(2 rooms left)

We were really pleased that the Lifestyle Suites are huge so that those sharing have a double bed each in separate sleeping areas (bedroom and lounge) and the bathroom is separate from the WC. As long as you don’t smoke or snore I will happily try to find you a sharer.

It is walking distance from the supermarket and bars in Kaprun and the bus that takes us to the ski lift stops right outside. The food was great too and we eat together in true Singlesport style.

Our preferred airport is Munich because we have previously booked Salzburg flights only to find that the airlines have later cancelled them! There will be one transfer coach timed to coincide with the Heathrow Munich flight and anyone arriving earlier or departing later.

• Return transfer from Munich (2.5 hours): £170 per person return

If it is not possible to offer a transfer there may be public transport options and I will introduce guests to share a taxi or hire a car.

Lift Passes

The 6-day lift pass last year was 339 Euros including 2 euros deposit—we will update with 2024
price once they become available.

Ski Hire

Skivolution will bring a wide selection of the current skis and will be able to advise you on which suit you best to get the most from the course. We will order these in advance.

There will be 2 ranges of skis in Kaprun:
• Super Prestige: 125 euros per person
• Prestige: 95 euros per person

Passport Check/Insurance

It is your responsibility to check both the issue and expiry date of your passport to be sure it is
valid for entry to Austria.  https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/austria/entry-requirements

You must have winter sports travel insurance and also EHIC/GHIC which is free https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/healthcare-abroad/apply-for-a-free-uk-global-health-

As a solo traveller it is also wise to note your next of kin in the back of your passport and carry a copy along with your insurance details in your ski jacket.
